Welcome to our little corner of the internet! If you've never heard of the Charles and Christine Richter Family, (or even if you have) feel free to read about the exploits of Chuck, Chris, Charlie, Caitlyn, or Cooper. Perhaps you're familiar with Chuck from such films as American Tourist Lost in Costa Rica, American Tourist Lost in Venezuela, or American Tourist Lost Somewhere in Europe.
Chuck is an electrical engineer working in the area of electricity market design. Presently working as a consultant in the energy industry, he can still remember the days when he was at Iowa State researching electricity market simulations and bidding strategies for his dissertation.
Chris is an optometrist working at Virginia Mason Medical Center (www.vmmc.org).
Charlie is in charge of setting the social agenda in the Richter household.
Both Cooper and Caitlyn are unemployed, but have a common shared goal of filling landfills with used diapers.
Feel free to view some of our photographs.
Those of you looking for the sections on the birth of baby goats will have to look elsewhere; it's not that type of kidding! Out of the countless spam messages in the email inbox, a few humorous articles and/or jokes warrant posting, after carefully screening and possible censorship.
Getting down to the heart of the matter

For all you guys who have ever been told, "I think of you as a brother"by the woman of your dreams... check out Joelogon's Foolproof Guide to Making Any Woman Your Platonic Friend. It might help ease your suffering, kinda like chicken soup for the soul. And even if it doesn't it's still worth a few laughs. Remember the positive things that made her special . Know that somewhere out there, somebody is thinking about you. So get out there and look for that special someone and don't forget your handy pickup lines and your poetry. (Stuff that sounds like Dr. Seuss would be appropriate as you try to determine those rules of friendship, what love really is, and how to encourage her love you ). If you're lucky, she'll be blinded by her love for you and won't ward you off with these great female comebacks. |

It was good to meet you, electronically speaking. And you can quote Chuck on that. Make sure you give Chuck a call if you have flat tire. (He knows a little shop in a small town in the center of Costa Rica where they can have that hole patched in only six to eight hours.) Stop by again sometime, or just email: chuck@dakotarichter.com or chris@dakotarichter.com.
