Canada:During the middle of July 1999 Chuck attended the IEEE PES Summer Power Meeting in Edmunton, Canada, and then visited some friends in Vancouver. The return to Des Moines with my luggage might qualify as a small adventure. |

Hana J. El-Samad who has since decided to ignore
Chuck, probably because she hates this picture :-0 ). |

Cozumel, Mexico: February 19, 2000, Chris and Chuck met up with The Hageman Diving team in Cozumel, Mexico to dive in one of the world's most spectacular reefs. Some of us also found time to explore part of the Yucatan Penninsula on the mainland. |

England 2003 |

Europe, 1997: In 1997 Chuck took a summer vacation in Europe. This time, he spent some time in Germany, France and Switzerland seeing the beaches and Roman ruins, and having culturally rewarding and diversifying experiences, and an occasional beer. |

Europe 1994: In August of 1994, Chuck had an urge to travel to Europe (it was either that or schedule some time off from work for a breakdown). It turns out that Chuck's old boss, Tom Rak, was right, Europe is a cool place to visit. They have have some excellent beer and bread there! Germany, France, Austria and Italy offered some spectacular sights. |
